 Winter Charters  (Nov-Apr)

Arrival

On arrival, you will fly into the British Virgin Islands at The Terrence B. Lettsome airport on Beef Island.  Your crew will pick you up in Trellis Bay (near the BVI airport), in Road Town and escort you to Outnaboat..  From there, you’ll settle in, have a cocktail and begin the crewed yacht charter of a lifetime.  These are some sailing itineraries outlined below. Itineraries are made as a starting point and only as suggestions for your review and can be changed to suit your personal preferences.

SEVEN DAY ITINERARY (Option 1)

Day 1:
Leave Tortola and head to White Bay, Peter Island, for stunning beaches and plenty of snorkeling. You can also explore the rest of the island, which is home to the exclusive Peter Island Resort.
Day 2:
Sail to Salt Island for more snorkeling or diving on the wreck of the Rhone. If you’d prefer you can take the dinghy to shore and explore the island. After lunch sail up to Long Bay, Virgin Gorda, for a late afternoon cocktail or if you are still feeling active some more water sports in the clear blue sea.
Day 3:
Take a hike on a nature trail to Savannah Bay, one of the most stunning beaches in the BVI.  After lunch, sail to Eustatia Sound where you can explore the yachters paradise around Bitter End Yacht Club and Saba Rock.
Day 4:
A short motor or sail up the North Sound takes you past Necker Island where you can snorkel and explore as far as the high water mark. Then sail to Muskmellon Bay on Guana Island, where you can hike up a cliff path for a spectacular sunset view.
BVI Beaches
Day 5:
Sail to the unspoiled island of Jost Van Dyke. Start the day at White Bay with a visit to the world famous “Soggy Dollar Bar” and then head down to Great Harbour to explore the many bars and restaurants including the world-renowned Foxy’s bar.
Day 6:
Early morning sail to the Baths on Virgin Gorda. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the boulders and rocks that form this natural wonder. Enjoy a down wind, sunset sail to Great Harbor, Peter Island for your final overnight stop.

Short sail back to Tortola.

 

Seven Day Itinerary (Option 2)

Day 1:
Depart Tortola and make a short sail to Norman Island. Swim and snorkel around the famous Indians or The Caves, a great spot to see the wide variety of marine life in the BVI waters. Head into The Bight for an overnight mooring, where you can visit the famous Willy T floating bar or Pirates Bight for dinner.
Day 2:
Set sail for Cooper Island and arrive in time to secure one of the overnight mooring buoys at the Cooper Island Beach Club. Spend the day on the beach, within easy reach of the beach bar…or do some more snorkelling off Cistern Point.
Day 3:
A short trip from Cooper Island takes you to the world famous Baths National Park. Arrive early pick up one of the mooring buoys and take the dinghy ashore. Spend the morning exploring the boulders and rocks that form this natural wonder and take a short hike up to ‘The Top of The Baths’ or ‘Mad Dogs’ for lunch. After lunch make your way to Trellis Bay off Beef Island for an overnight stop. One should make dinner reservations at The Last Resort – an experience not to be missed.
Day 4:
Set sail for the North Sound in Virgin Gorda in the morning – if you sail via The Dogs you will find more great snorkelling. You can choose from a number of great mooring spots in North Sound itself including Leverick Bay, a Pussers Resort, Biras Creek for a more sophisticated, formal dinner or Bitter End Yacht Club for lots of entertainment and things to see and do. You can enjoy the many lovely beaches, visit the shops or enjoy the busy bar and restaurant.
Day 5:
Sail to Monkey Point on Guana Island in the morning for lunch and some snorkeling. Then set off down the North shore of Tortola towards Great Harbour in Jost Van Dyke. This is a great place to spend the night, and you can visit the world famous Foxy’s bar and restaura nt for dinner, drinks… and entertainment from the man himself.
Day 6:
Take a short trip over the Sandy Cay – the perfect desert island. This magical little island is a great place to stop and reflect on your wonderful stay in the BVI. You can snorkel, swim or just enjoy the beach here and then set off after lunch to Cane Garden Bay on Tortola for your overnight anchorage. In the evening be sure to take your dinghy ashore for live music and dancing at Quitos.
Day 7:
Set sail for Sopers Hole, where you can stop for lunch and some last minute gift shopping before heading back to Road Town in the afternoon.
